While you can't buy a PS3 Jailbreak in Australia - and soon your probably won't be able to do in America - a group of smart hackers have enabled several smart phones to do the job. According to [URL=http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/05/ps3-jailbreak-adapted-to-nokia-n900-palm-pre-in-wake-of-austral]Engadget[/URL], you can hack your PS3 with a tethered smartphone. Working with the people behind the PSGroove PS3 Jailbreak, hacker [URL=http://kakaroto.homelinux.net/2010/09/psfreedom-jailbreak-ps3-with-n900-worked-finished-and-released/]Kakaroto[/URL] has adapted the same jailbreak to the Nokia N900, and the [URL=http://psx-scene.com/forums/showpost.php?p=505135&postcount=1]open-source community[/URL] has already ported the hack to the Palm Pre.
While I haven't tested these hacks (mainly because I’m not into that sort of stuff) there are several video that show these hacks in action.
