I've heard somewhere, FCC.gov or another consumer activist... That there is a Game developer "comity"(was the term used), that wanted to create a bill lead by petitions to enforce the Video game consumer, you and me, too pay for Game licenses.
So... What does that mean: Game License...? You wonder...

Well, a software License is number you enter when you install Microsoft Windows, the 12AB-34cD-56Ef-78GH serial number... Yea that number that goes void after reinstalling the OS 4+ times, requiring you to purchase it again...
The same idea will come with Game Licensing, after you have used the game enough -- You will no longer be able to play it without paying full price for it again.

Yes. Many games come with a number now, but those numbers are for piracy protection.. The numbers do not entitle you to pay extra if you lose it or damage the disc. In fact, you can return the damaged disc get reimbursed and if you loose the number you can get a new one as well, by mailing the disc in, with no additional cost other then shipping fees.

Do not allow this anonymous group of game Developers request extra money for their finished work, when the game developer sits finished product on the table, not even update the product any more, and with no additional work is even put into the product.

Video Games are like art work and movies.. You can look at it, you can be amazed by it, but you shouldn't have to worry about the artists coming into your house and trying to remove it once it has already been finished.
