So, being one of the resident Dbz fans, maybe the only one, I don't know, I fiqure it falls to me to report on the latest Dbz game, Raging blast.

I'll keep this simple. If you are a fan of the previous dbz games, particularly the Budokai teknikaichi series, then this will be another great additon.

Raging blast takes the same basic gameplay that was in BT series, and tries to add the over the top attacks that were a big part of the Budokai series.

The open movment combat has been improved with some new dashing mechanics, some defensive moves and a new type of charecter growth system, while still having the same general feel to it.

For the single player, you have both the Campaign, which runs all the way through the Dbz series up to the end of the buu saga, and some movies, as well as a few interesting "what if" scenarios to try, and you also have the World tournment mode as well.

For multiplayer, you have both online and local multiplayer, competivie, as well as special score based ranked matchs on xbox live and Psn.

Over all, for dbz fans, this will be about all you need.

Visually, the games have gotten as a good looking as they can without losing the style of the anime in the process, and the special effects and lighting is top notch. The camera can get a bit crazy due to some of the wierd locations the fight winds up in, against walls and such, but over all does a good job. Sound is good, with proper music and sound effects ripped right out of the show, along with voice work by the cast.

If your a dbz fan, you'll have fun with Raging blast, for fighting game fans, I'd say rent first, then buy if you like it.
