Another "I don't care game", it's ugly, framey and generally shoddy on the 360 (Dwarven beards clipping through their breastplates during interaction, say no more)..but I don't care. I won't spoil anything but I played through the origin story last night, the training and character development section as a Female Dwarf Casteless. It's actually quite sad and disturbing in parts and when I'd emerged into the overground to join the Grey Wardens one of the first interactions was with a human nobleman who made complimentary remarks about the Dwarven Nobility. The dialogue path I chose was one of agreement and deference toward him but as I was working through it I was saying to myself, "This guy has no idea what these people are like". Similarly as I made my way to my next objective I encountered an NPC who referred to my character as My Lady and I actually smiled and thought "Wow, he called me My Lady". The game also gives you tons of background material in the form of codex entries and I've found myself referring to it to try and understand the way certain characters have behaved or why they've used certain words. I like to roleplay, to just suspend my disbelief for a while and go with the game and DA:O is absolutely a must buy from that point of view.
