You'd never know the economy is in a rut right now by looking at the video game industry. I don't understand it; I guess if you loose your job at the office, you can always get a job slaying dragons. :p
In that case, why are job openings on gamejobs.com (where I learned about this forum) few and far between, and not one of them is open to entry-level positions?
It's a matter of simple, simple economics that the job market is directly proportional to how well the industry is doing in terms of consumerism, yet with the video game industry, that seems to be the exact opposite of the case. Why?
