Over the years, time and time again, the ESRB in the US & Canada has proven to the general public over the years that It has been biased against violent games like Grand theft auto. Even games like Super Smash Bros Brawl have felt the stranglehold of this "rating company." Harmless fun? Picking your best character and fighting your friend in a virtual box is so bad. 15 years after the formation of the ESRB, the gamer community knows what it has done. The ESRB has brainwashed parents to not judge their kids to see if they are mature enough to play a game, but look at a little box in the bottom left corner to see what is in it.

People are getting tired of the obvious stupidity of the ESRB. People are getting angry over the controversy that the ESRB has made. People are saddend over the censorship that the ESRB has brought. People want a better system. People want change.

I say that there should be a new system, one that is run by the people who play games. Gamers for Gamers, or g4g, will have more that just 6 ratings to chose from. there will 17 ratings, from 3 to over the top. (which is AO in ESRB terms.) This way, there will be no grey.

While overthrowing a powerful company is hard, it is possible. Take this thread, modify it with your own facts and opinions. Treat this thread like it was under the GPL licence. spread the word!
