I loved the first one, FEAR was an amazing game. It was a little short in my opinion but I loved it. The creepy factor added to the greatness of the game itself. FEAR was nothing stunning when it came to graphics or AI intelligence(though better then other games).

Anyways, FEAR 2. I have picked this game up cause I loved FEAR. So far, Ive really kind of been disappointed with FEAR 2. The HUD is better, the weapons dont seem to have any inprovement on them. Throughout game play youll find that when you pick up a weapon it is really only good for the level you picked it up on. Ammo is sparce for many of the weapons. The pistol has been killed, in FEAR that was the one trusty weapon that would take down anything that stood infront of it. FEAR 2 has also killed the rifle, I dont like the new one, damage doesnt seem to be as good as FEAR. alot of this stuff is had to understand, the HUD is great, new weapions is cool but FEAR 2 takes place jsut as the FEAR story line ends. The scenes with Alma dont have the same about of scare factor as FEAR. Darkness seems to envelope you as you play the game, lighting is hard to come by and use of teh flashlight is a must(reminds me of Doom 3). This game is worth the play but I dont find it worth replay.

FEAR set the bar. Its not spoken of alot but for AI, it did much better then otehr games at that time. Play FEAR 2 but dont expect another FEAR. :mad:
