Ok first off the kid should not be on Halo 3. Not because he is under the Age rating, that is the parents call. But because a kid will turn a decent match into a total flame fest in the matter of seconds. From the first time the kid speaks on the headset it will either result in others belittling him because he is a kid or he will be the one to instigate the name calling. Not once have I ever played a match on Halo 3 let alone XBL that a kid hasn't dropped the N-bomb every three seconds or just starts screaming random curse words into the headset. Something tells me that this kid was the instigator in the name calling and now the dad is mad that people fired back at him. Honestly I don't know why you would argue with someone over the headset while playing XBL. If they start yelling at you, calling you names or anything else you mute them and if it gets too bad file a complaint. I find it funny that he is surprised that trash talking is going on during a match on a game rated for people 17 and up.
