Soooo..I saw brand new copy of Two Worlds,(the special edition with the slip cover and the Tabletop RPG rules and soundtrack CD) at less than half price in Cash Converters, and thought "Meh..if I buy it I'll still probably get my money back If I trade it in". But I'm not trading it in because I really like it, this game has been much maligned in the press but I just can't see why. Two Worlds was called an Oblivion clone or a poor man's Oblivion, well apart from being a fantasy RPG its not that much like Oblivion and more like Diablo2 or any number of old school RPG's. Its a good old dungeon crawl, sure the voice acting is terrible and the frame rate is wonky, there's much pop in and loading pauses (no more than Oblivion really) but if you can live with that there's a solid game to be played. The graphics are like high end last gen console games, they aren't fabulous but the environments are detailed and pretty and If I could put up with last gen graphics then, I can put up with them now. Someone in the press called Two Worlds a child of Diablo2 and Morrowind and that's a description I agree with..I loved both of those games anyway.
