It's finally happened. THe Wii has a game thats not only awesome, unique, and exclusive, but is fun to play, isn't gimmicky, and has the kinda style one normally associates with the 360. That game is No More Heros.

Having picked it up recently, I'm now hopelessly addicted to the Beam saber slashing, face smashing, suplexing type of combat the game uses. It's fast paced, stylish, exciting, and bloody as all heck. It stuns me that Jack Thompson hasn't began yelling about it, but like the shallow douche he is, he can't be bothered since it's not by Rock star.

While I love the games style, unique story, interesting personalities, and impressive art style, it's not to say it's perfect. The side jobs and mini quests that happen between the main missions are rather bland when stacked against the games main combat. Even the bonus free fight missions are little more then small scale arena battles. And while the game has a large city to explore, there little to do in it other then buy gear, grab some new clothes, upgrade your beam saber, and so forth. The city in the game acts as more of a hub from place to place, then the living breathing world of a Grab theft auto .

However, the games minor short comings are vastly outweighed by it's amazing combat, slick visuals, great music, and hilarious story.

If you have a Wii and are bored of the mini game laden fair currently pumped out by the industry for nintendos White box, then you owe it to yourself to get a copy of No More Heros.

It might not be perfect, but theres nothing quite like it on the wii, or anywhere for that matter.:D
