So who here caught last nights season premier? Thoughts? Feelings? Theories?

So here is what I grabbed from last nights show [Spoliers]
[COLOR=White]Hurley, Kate and Jack are all back in the states. Recused from the island and now trying to cope with their crappy lives. Hurley gets in a Dukes of Hazzardesq car chase with the cops. We come to find out when he is arrested that there were six people rescued from the island (Kate, Jack, Hurley, ?, ?, and ?). Back on the island Everyone is getting ready for the rescue, Jack keeps getting random calls from one of the ship's crew members who is demanding to speak to Naiomi. The thing is she is dead, or so they think. She somehow gets up and wanders off after taking a knife in the back from Locke. Jack, Russoe and Ben head off to follow a blood trail while Kate steals the phone from Jack and follows another trail she found. Kate ends up running into Naiomi who speaks to the crew member and changes the tracking frequency on the phone, then promptly dies and turns the phone off with her nose.

Back on the beach, Desmond comes ashore with the boat and without Charlie, tells everyone the hobbit is dead, every does the emo thing for a while and then gears up because they were informed the guys on the boat are not who they say they are. They wander into the forest heading back to the plane. Hurley being his usual self gets lost and comes upon the cabin Jacob is in. As he snoops around he sees someone in the rocking chair then someone else pops up near the window and scares the fat man into running like a little girl. As he runs he finds the cabin in front of him again. He pulls a Shinning and closes his eyes, counts to five and the evil cabin is gone. Then he trips and screams again when he finds Locke.

Back in the future, Hurely is back in the nut house, playing connect four with some brain dead guy. When he has a visitor, who claims to be a lawyer for Oceanic Airlines. He offers Hurley an "upgrade" but he turns it down. The conversation starts to get weird and when the man cannot produce proper ID Hurley tells him to leave, the man stand and asks "Are they still alive?" Which sends Hurley into a spaz as he leaves. Later on Hurley is painting when a fellow wacko tells him that someone is watching him and points out Charlie, which send Hurley into another spazfest. After a little convincing that he is there we learn that Charlie is in fact dead. He asks the same question the strange man asks "Are they still alive?" then tells Hurley "You know what you have to do, stop running. They need you." Hurley does his Shinnin' thing again and Charlie vanishes.

Back on the island Hurley and Locke meet up with the beach party at the plane, then the tower party shows up and Jack hits Locke, stands over him and points a gun in his face. After a whole "You won't shoot me" talk Jack pulls the trigger to hear and unsatisfying click as the gun is not loaded.

The scene then takes on another Lord of the Flies reference when the survivors split into two groups. Those who will go with Locke to Barracks, and those who will stay with Jack to be Rescued. Back in the psych ward Hurley is shooting hoops when Jack pays him a visit. It is just to actually see if Hurley has told anyone the secret. After confirming that he hasn't cracked yet Jack goes to leave. Hurley says he is sorry he went with Locke, then says they were not meant to leave and they need to go back. Jack explodes and tells Hurley they are never going back to the island and walks out.

The episode ends with someone parachuting onto the island near Jack and Kate. [/COLOR]

Theories to Questions and others [In White]
[COLOR=White]- The secret Jack doesn't want Hurley to tell is the actual events that took place on the Island in fear that the Dharma group will kill them
- The people on the boat are actually a group of Dharma partners looking to silence those on the island, kill the others for what they did and to wipe out any evidence of the research done on the island
- Charlie was the second person in the cabin with Jacob when Hurley was snooping around
- The true power and nature of the island will be revealed.
