Yeah, the game came out a while ago, but I never got around to playing it until recently.

Just started a barbarian half-orc with not much for stats other than strength. Doesn't really matter that I don't have anything else high (I believe 14 and 13 for con and dex, 18 str, nothing else really matters on a barbarian after that so my mental/social stats were all dump stats) since I just charge everything and it tends to die in a hit or two. Everyone else in my party is either dwarf or half-orc for the darkvision and carrying ability mostly. Except for the barbarian and monk everyone is in heavy armor, I have a bow fighter and some decent ranged weapons on those who can use them, but everyone outside of the bow fighter excels at in their face with five hand-spans of steel combat.

My tactic is close the distance and slaughter them all. (Think "blood for the blood god" if you're familiar with warhammer/warhammer 40k lore)
