Well this is my first 360 and 13 days into I'm having trouble playing Halo3 during solo and online play.

Whenever I'm engaging enemies solo or online My wireless controller becomes disconnected and a nice error msg pops up telling me to reconnect and press the A button to dismiss. Thats anytime I get hit by someone else or anything.

I'm on the phone with xbox tech and so far they told me it could be from having a cell phone running on a broadband signal too close to the console or a running microwave is too close to the console. turned off my phone my controller still got disconnected moved my console into a different room another good 10-15 feet away from our kitchen still got disconnected...

Can anyone give me some insight on whats happening and how i can fix it??

Yes the batteries are full forgot to add that in.
