So with sony literally dcking around with the PS3 price and MS licking its wounds publicly,where are things going from here?

These are some of my opinions please dismiss them when necessary =^^=

The WII is the new PS2,its playing the low/middle ground and getting support from nearly everyone, Nintendo has started to reclaim the throne theres lil doubt about it and with the other systems screwing them selfs over to save money in the short run while damaging their rep at the same time, they are the main reason the WII is king, how long do you think the WIIs reign will last?
I feel the WII will do great till 09 or 010 when the PS3 finally climbs from tis grave(meaning price drops+ maturing library=world wide sales) but even then it will be close Xbox vs GC close.

Well at this point and time any apology is a good one, albeit the timing is perfect to kiss up to the consumers but meh its a corporation at least its trying to fluff the wool before returning to pillaging.
For now the 360 is gettign new chips that should be showing in stores between November of this year and spring of next year with both new CPU and GPU and prehaps a better designed heating system the 360 is being fixed this should be the model to get hopefully MS will start phasing out the older units and parts used to re certify RMAS even if they have free parts labor + shipping will kill them if they have to fix 1 unit 10 times.

MS has dismissed price cuts but I can't help not see some coming later this year or by spring of next year, even without price drops it will do well,but they should look to do something a bit more with disenfranchised consumers thos that have had a unit repaired 3 times or more really need this new one.

Has anyone heard of a solid date for the new 360 roll out? how about anything more on the consumer replacement front will they re use the older parts,units till they cant anymore?

If MS is chasing its tail,Sony is going arse backwards,first off a OTT launch now a a price drop thats only until the stock clears and repeating the mistake of stupid 2ndary models what is sony thinking why is it trying to hard to damage itself to save moeny int eh short run,lets find it they have shot them selfs in both feet,they can tough it out but how much damage will be done because they refuse to face reality?

So far the damage done to PS3 is slow sales and a few devs jumping ship,lil by lil the PS3 is being like the Xbox only instead of PC style games it will have some PSX franchises and the multi console games but as long as it clings to the media machine road it will lose more unique games and without them whats left?
