that today marks the eight-year anniversary of the Columbine massacre. I don't know what that didn't click yet, especially in regards to the incident at Va. Tech, but I really want to take this time to remember all the innocent lives that were lost on the day in 1999 and this recent incident.

I seldom ever get heavily involved in this vain of discussion because it really upsets me to talk about it. I don't understand what can drive someone to hate so much that it would inspire them to kill. I don't. Violence is a very human function, and I understand that. However, as a human, I've been well able to restrain myself from resorting to these means, despite tough times, despite hardships and change.

I can't relate to a man who finds pleasure in firing a gun. I can't relate to a man who is willing to kill another human being. I simply can't. To that effect, I can't help but turn my head and sigh.

Everyone here is well aware of my religious views. If there is a God, I couldn't care less if he gave me life. He's forced me to live on this miserable planet with people who are willing to go out and shoot 33 innocent people, who are willing to fly planes into buildings, who are willing to picket funerals, and then the people who are willing to get on national television and say, "Video games, violent movies, and cable television are to blame." It disgusts me further than any horrendous act I could imagine, I swear to you it does.

If there is a God he's forced me to endure such awful people who commit such awful crimes against mankind, and I see no reason to worship such a, dare I say it, bastard.

You know who's fault the Va. Tech incident was? Cho Seung Hui. It was his fault. Why is no one blaming him?

It just...it just does not make sense to me, and it never will.

On a lighter note, today is a holiday for some, but that's no excuse to forget these heinous crimes and the numerous others committed and soon to be committed. There's no reason for any of it. Never has been and never will be.
