So WoW haets 93.81 (or whatever the new nvidia graphics drivers are) and I uninstall them, install 92.71. Bingo bango, WoW looks good, but now I'm getting blue screens that list the offender as misc. nvidia drivers related to LAN/cp/graphics.
So I give up and roll windows back to the old drivers. Once again, WoW crashes every so often and runs a bit more stable with multisample/ansio off, while Supreme Commander, BF2, 3dmark 2006, etc all do just fine.
This is a new install of WoW btw.
Also, before I got a new cooler I had problems running my video card at stock speeds. For some reason xfx in their infinate wisdom decided to run a 7800gt at 450mhz/1050mhz and with the stock cooler I got temps in the high 70s under load. O.o
Anyways, just ranting, but what did I do wrong with installing yee olde video drivers?
