Today, I was Christmas shopping at my local Wal-Mart (I really don't like Wal-Mart, but it's the most convenient place to go where I live), and my lil' brother starts throwing a fit over a Hot-Wheels watch he wants. So, when he turns away, I grab it and hold it up to myself in a way that nobody would be able to see it. Now, the entire time we've been at the store (about two hours), I've noticed that there's been this same group of five or six people standing in the same place every time we've gone by. So, anyway, when I grab the watch and 'hide' it, this late-20's/early-30's woman from that group walks up to me and yells, "You tryin' to steal somethin', boy?" Kind of puzzled, I briefly try to say that it's a gift that I'm making sure my brother doesn't see, but she interrupts me by pointing and yelling...

Over and over again, about three or four times. Her 'group' she was standing with is giving me the evil eye, and everyone in the store is staring at me. I start walking away, speechless, and she follows me, continuing with repeating that. My mom comes over and asks what's going on, and she gets yelled at as well. They have some rather large, surly-looking dudes in their 'group', so frankly, I'm afraid to go to the car alone, which is on the far end of the parking lot. So, we get some employees, who, in turn, fetch the highest-up guy in the store. He's very concerned, and so he sends some people out with us to the car, and says he'll keep tabs on the freaks and call the cops if they do anything else, since they're already acting incredibly suspicious (a while after the incident, they're STILL in the same place, which clocks it in at at least three hours of them standing around in the same spot and doing nothing).
Uhh... Yeah. There's a good journal entry if I ever heard one; "Dear diary: Today, I was attacked by some coked-up bible-thumpers."
