Since WGA is anti consumer and wants to call home every few months I myself run XP SP1 I refuse to have anything to do with WGA and SP2,I have installed the SP1 updates that have brought in WGA or installed SP2 on friends and family comps they spent money on their OS or systems my uncle just got a fresh OEM of SP2 pro for 140$ had to call it in ocne the day of install and once again after a month.

and to think WGA on vista locks down into a lesser safe mode 0-o

Ah modern gaming its like modern film only the watering down of fiction and characters is replaced with shallow and watered down mechanics, gimmicks and shiny-er "people".
