As discussed in the thread about too many mods, this is the thread to sign up for the weekly debate forums. This thread will never close, and I will keep an up to date list in this post of everyone participating.

Here's how it's gonna work.

Everyone who signs up will be randomly assigned to a side every week. He/She/It will have to debate the position they're assigned to. This means you may have to debate for a side you don't necessarilly agree with, but that's the point of this excercise. So just post here saying you want in and I'll add you to the list. I will moderate the debate threads as a neutral party. I could probably afford to have at least one of the other mods volunteer to do the same.

Also, when you post, throw in some ideas for topics you would like to debate. I will be selecting the topics, but I want your input.

If you would like to participate in the weekly stickied Debate threads run by Theory? or Tollwutig please post your interest here. We'll add you to the list in the next debate. A new debate thread will be opened every Monday and teams will be assigned, and will end on the following Sunday with a statement from one of us. Theory? and Myself will moderate the debates and keep them civil. Again if you would like to participate please post here stating so and we will add you to the list. -
