They don't call Jorge Masvidal "Gamebred' to no end, and it appears as though he gets that from his dad.

Masvidal (33-13 MMA, 10-6 UFC) has had enough of Ben Askren's dirty tricks thus has his dad evidently, Jorge Sr., who expectations his child puts a beating on Askren this Saturday at UFC 239.

"He needs me to break his will and break his face," Masvidal revealed to MMA Junkie Radio on Wednesday of his dad's remarks on Askren. "My father is a mean SOB, presumably a little meaner than me really to disclose to you reality, and he needs me to hurt Ben terrible, you know."

In front of his battle with Askren at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Masvidal had ceased from doing any media until Wednesday's appearance on MMA Junkie Radio, alongside open exercises prior in the day. The reason? He'd preferably simply center around the battle.

Askren, actually, has been completing a great deal of talking. And keeping in mind that Masvidal hasn't terminated back as of recently, he's very much aware of all what's been said.

"Battle week, I'm prepared for it (media), yet before that, I simply like being alone," Masvidal said. "Particularly returning and forward with a moron like that, who's not entertaining, that is not clever. He's simply hurling whatever he can. He stops up, in actuality, when he sees a mother(expletive), so I couldn't care less to be all in the media returning and forward with this hillbilly or whatever the (interjection) he is."

Masvidal is falling off a standout amongst his best profession exhibitions, a first-round knockout over Darren Till this past March in London. He pursued that with the behind the stage fight with Leon Edwards, the notorious "three piece and a soft drink" that has landed him in a lot of features.

For Masvidal, the contender that grew up fighting in lawns, it's dependably been about the battling.
