OSRS: Deadman Mode Guide for Beginner

The Deadman Spring Season 2018 is open now, and the Season will run until Thursday 11th January. The final survivor will win a $20,000 cash prize. If you are new to Deadman Mode of Old School RuneScape, this guide will introduce to you the key concepts of the DMM, and what you should do in order to succeed.

Deadman Mode is both a permanent and a seasonal quarterly temporary variant of Old School RuneScape, in which a separate server is hosted featuring an open PvP environment, with some exceptions. Seasonals

Every few months, Jagex opens a brand new deadman seasonal server, in which the top 2,000 players will become eligible to participate in the Deadman Invitational. In the Invitational server, all players start over from the beginning, and have less than a week to build their accounts up to the final hour of the Invitational, in which a deadly fog spreads over the area, and the safe zone is broadcasted in game, forcing remaining players to a confined area to fight it out.
