World of Warcraft: Patch 7.3.2 New Environment Assets

In World of Warcraft Patch 7.3.2, Blizzard added extra environment files, used as assets for the sky/stars. While these look similar to those used in the Star Augur Etraeus fight, we have confirmed these are new to 7.3.2.

The new void-themed files are used as assets for the sky/stars:

Environments\Stars\7XP_Astromancer_OldGodPlanet_Nether02.blp

Environments\Stars\7XP_Astromancer_PlanetAlpha_Dark02.blp

Environments\Stars\7XP_Astromancer_Planet_CutOut02.blp

We are speculating that these could be related to the Wound in the World, in which Sargeras throws his sword into Silithus, potentially awakening the Old Gods. Perhaps there is a larger skybox that requires more corrupted planets--like an alternate vision of what could be if the Old Gods took over. Again, this is just speculation on our end, as with any speculation it's unofficial and could lead to nothing.
