As you progress, you can unlock an extra special attack that uses two bars for an even stronger attack. In a recent interview of Eiichiro Oda, Design N Trend says that Blood & Sea has hinted that a massive war is about to come in One Piece. The crew gauge lets you switch between support characters and builds as you land attacks while it will weaken a bit if you take damage.
