Agreed, the game needed more time before they released it, half the bugs were already known about, but the Devs hadn't had time to fix them. It was rushed to meet a deadline, probably one set by marketing, who doesn't usually check it's facts (Marketing rarely likes reality, and makes up stuff they thing the customer wants to hear).
Doesn't Destiny arrive in September while ESO won't be released until at least December? Three months is a long time in the gaming community. If ESO has competition on the consoles, it will Cheap ESO Gold likely be some other game altogether, probably a game released a month before or after ESO.
Such a boohoo, me, me, me, me, me attitude. I'd be quite happy to take dueling to a dueling area too keep the cry babies happy, it is hardly the people that want to duels fault that most mmo's don't do this, so don't try to insult us that do want to duel. But dueling is not the same as what happens in Cyrodiil, for one thing you duel with your friends. In Cyrodiil your friends will be on your side.
Presumably you signed up to this knowing it had no dueling system and no stated plans to implement one? Now you complain about it when there are other MMOs that satisfy your need, you don't even have to leave here just play this and a game that feeds your need to duel.
I think griefing players is mental, it is allowed in Cyrodiil and I am not asking for it to be banned - but I do question the mindset of someone who gets off on messing with people who are obviously trying to do solo stuff. People like this and games that enable it are the reason I have mostly been an offline player.
If you read my reply you would perhaps comprehend that my objection is very specific to allowing any form of PvP into PvE areas.
I am not keen on introducing duelling, especially if it moves the game away from its goals BUT if they feel they absolutely must give duelists a place to play then as long as it is 100% voluntary, does not offer unique powerful things not available in the main game than I would not unsub to Buy ESO Gold or anything.
Would be nice to see the game offer all it actually promised first though.
P.S. I did not insult you, I insulted a particular type of player who like to spoil other players. If that is what you like then yes feel free to wear that hat.
Dueling would please so many fans it's unreal. I except that not everyone will want to do it. So there should be functions to allow people to ignore it.
I also except that having people fighting around quest givers and towns can ruin peoples immersion so there should be a fixed area.
But having an area where people can duel is not only something that would make the game better for many, many people. It's ridiculous that it would not be included in any mmo. Let alone an Elder Scrolls mmo.
For one thing, having a dueling area on the outskirts of a couple of towns would bring like minded people together and help form better PVP guilds. Which would be to the benefit of Cyrodiil.
