I agree with you, and you have an absolutely fantastic example. The Witcher 3 showed this brilliantly, and managed to keep all "adult"-oriented things within harmony with everything else. There was never a feeling of "suggestive" things being out-of-place, but more so synchronized beautifully with everything else.

When i was in a guild group the other day, my guildmate was playing with her kids there, and while we were waiting for a delve boss for Cheap ESO Gold to spawn, the kids wanted me to unequip my Khajiit's chest piece, so they could see if she had boobs or not. My guildmate did not discourage this, and the sight of a khajiit in her undies was apparently hilarious.

I understand many players are parents and much adult content is inappropriate for certain ages, but these kids need to be desensitized to this stuff sometime.

A lot of the game has been sanitised/toned down compared to previous depictions in earlier games or lore. For example, Coldharbour itself; this is how it was described in "The Doors of Oblivion":

" It appeared to Zenas as if it were a future Nirn, under the King of, desolate and barren, filled with suffering. I could hear Morian Zenas weep at the images he saw, and shiver at the sight of the Imperial Palace, spattered with blood and excrement."

This made me think of a post-apocalyptic version of Nirn, what Nirn would be like if Molag Bal completed the Planemeld. Instead we got a very otherworldly realm of spiky floating rocks and few truly dark/frightening moments. Even the fake Imperial Palace is squeaky-clean.

I have no idea why the Coldharbour in ESO is so Disney-esque. Coldharbour is supposed to be a truly horrible place. A place that gives those who enter it nightmares, and regrets for ever setting foot within it. And yet... As you said, there's just floating minerals about. And water that looks like the icy blue Gatorade or Powerade.

Yeah. And too many things are played for laughs (the Nord village with the enchanted mead, people having a peppy, "isn't this a fun adventure" attitude instead of dread and horror), not to mention having a safe, comfortable haven in the Hollow City rather takes away a bit from the feeling of danger and oppression.

It was really refreshing playing the Witcher 3 and having a mature world to explore where people get annoyed and act like it with dialogue to Buy ESO Gold, but more than this the dark feeling to the world just gave it more depth. When I'm hunting a tormented spirit I learn it really is a tormented spirit and not a jolly nice chap whose brothers locked it away for wanting to go and help some other jolly nice chaps.

This game only has a M rating because of the literature in it, things like he lusty argonian maid. We already have the M rating, they might as well make it into an actual M game. I love how they re did the beginning and made it much more mature. Now I am not saying they should do that to the whole game, but for new content, at least EARN that M rating.
