Final Fantasy XIV Bard Guide: How to Be a Good Bard
After Heavensward online, Machinist is added. There are more choices for the players who want to have dps job. Which is the best dps? It is hard to say. But if you want Mmogah to recommend a dps job, Bard is a good choice. I think it is interesting and it is not hard to control. If you have interest or plan to upgrade a Bard, Mmogah could give you some tips.
Bard is a job that specializes in buffing their allies with songs and other enchantments. Using bow in combat, Bard improves upon the archer class through the addition of group buffs. Bards have all the abilities and traits of Archers. They can also use all the cross-class abilities of Pugilist and lancer. The most important stat for the bard is dexterity, which increases attack power. The level of your Bard is equivalent to that of your Archer.
Of course, I like Bard with other reasons. Is there anyone else like me to prefer to play as Archer in all games? If you like Archer just as me, Bard in Final Fantasy XIV will not make you feel disappointed. At least, it is handsome enough! XD
How to become a Bard? You need to be an Archer (Lv30) and Pugilist (Lv15) First! If you’ve met these requirements, you can return to the Archers Guild in Gridania to get your quest to obtain the “Soul of the Bard”. In FFXIV, becoming a job is as simple as equipping the required Soul.
As a Bard you have two main attributes to consider. Dexterity (DEX) for your ranged damage and Piety (PIE) for your MP. The more MP you have, the longer you can keep a song up but as you only get around 5 MP per PIE point this translates to about 1/6 of a second of song duration. Since classes and jobs share the same attribute points I recommend putting them all into DEX because PIE is not recommended for Archer at all. How do attributes influence your dps is as following.
Dexterity - Ranged damage
Piety - MP
Quickarm - Skill Speed
Heavens' Eye - Accuracy
Savage Might - Determination
Savage Aim - Critical Hit Rating
The most important quests that could get skills and equipment are as following, Mmogah recommends to complete them as soon as you can.
If you are a new player or the one who has enough time to upgrade, Mmogah recommends you to upgrade your Bard yourself. You could know more about the abilities of Bard. If you don’t have enough time and need FFXIV Power Leveling, Mmogah is your best choice. You just need to pay a few of dollars, then you will get your Lv60 Bard. What’s more, Mmogah also provides the safest and cheapest FFXIV Gil. Whenever you need to buy FFXIV Gil (FF14 Gil kaufen) or FF14 Power Leveling, our Live Chat is 24/7 online waiting for you.
