Thankfully, creator of Garry's Mod Garry Newman quickly patched the exploit, as he explained to PC Runescape gamer: “The worm as I understand it was transferred to the client as a dll, then when it loaded it crashed the client, in the hope that they'd join another server. When they did it downloaded the server's config file and looked for a rcon password.” RCON, or “remote console,” allows you to control a server remotely. “If it got one, it infected the server by uploading the dll and running it (it didn't need rcon to upload the dll, only to run it). And then the cycle continued.”Naturally Valve also patched the exploit quickly, meaning their own Source Runescape games should also be safe to play on now. Not sure if she's just too elusive, or if she's getting domed just as much, but when she does she's not taking damage. We have an audio change we're going to try with the dome. The monster will no longer hear the Trapper dome VO and won't hear the piece of gear fly up. Experienced monsters are running as soon as they hear the sound. Wraith can get out 100% of the time with one or two warps and a warpblast, even if the Hunter is ontop of her. So if we don't play the sounds, she won't be as aware when it goes up.
