At the moment, the Cabal game isn’t really doing much with that outside world right now, and we can’t help but feel it’s a missed opportunity.It’s not there’s anything wrong with Dwarves at the moment – it’s just feeling somewhat incomplete. The campaign is good enough to see you through once, but once you’re seen everything there is to see, we don’t see much longevity in this game. There’s still some time yet before release, so hopefully the team will shore up the meta-game and the design aspects – as a veteran Sims Cabal player I’d happily spend hours digging away trying to make the perfect dwelling if it wasn't for those bug bears. But there was a small corner of the internet, namely developers, concerned about the propensity for Cabal gamers to play a game and then request a refund only hours later.One party firmly in the concerned camp is Qwiboo, a developer based out of London. They're responsible primarily for mobile Cabal games although one of their recent titles, Beyond Gravity, is available on Steam for a measly US$2. It's a procedurally generated endless platformer with a cute artstyle that revolves around collecting as many power-ups as possible.It looks fairly charming and it's been received well on Steam with a 89% rating from 616 reviews. That's a pretty respectable result in anyone's books. There is just one problem though: while more and more people are enjoying the Cabal game, the developer claims that they're not http://www.cabal2shop.com  getting a cut of the sales because people are abusing Steam's new refunds policy.Shacknews has reposted some Tweets from the developer, which is fortunate because Qwiboo's Twitter account is protected and I can't access the Tweets myself. But in a nutshell the Tweets are pictures of the developer's sales graph, which shows that sales of the Cabal game have plummeted to almost nothing since the new refunds policy was announced. Out of 18 sales 13 refunded in just last 3 days. That's 72% of purchases, Qwiboo reportedly said. Given that the Cabal game is not generating a huge amount of sales and that the asking price is less than a cup of coffee in most cities, it's a depressing state of affairs.Valve did say they were keeping their ear to the ground for users who abused the new refunds policy, but we've heard nothing about anyone actually being punished, banned or even having their refunds limited as of yet.
