In this guide, we will teach you how to increase your Range skill fast by chinning for a pure account. In our guide, you can level up Range as fast as possible with no need to raise your prayer level, or do any quest. The key word for our guide is ‘Bandit’. Your pure account can chin with only one defense and one prayer. Here is how you do it.
You will need a ‘friend’ to help. We suggest you use your main character. You are recommended to wear proselyte armor, equip a dragon mace, white boots and white gloves. Remember that higher level your mace is, the more prayer bonus you will harvest. But since it’s not easy to obtain mace, you can also use adamant instead. Most importantly make sure take a book of Zamorak or Saradomin with you. Only in that way the bandits will automatically attack your character. As to inventory, you can bring 200gb to travel to Bedadin via rug, and then go south towards bandits. Rest space can be stored with prayer potions such as holy wrench.
Now let’s get back to your pure account that is looking for highest Range bonus, you can start chinning on Range level 45. You will get about 60K XP for each 1000 chins you have done (Using proper range potions). In order to be safe, you should stand behind the bar and attack the bandits at the most east side. You should put 200gp, 5 to 10 sharks and ranged potions in your inventory.
This is the best method we have found because your main account cost less than 1 defense account to be praying, which also benefits your main account with higher prayer level thus more armor options that makes you survive longer.On the other hand, as pure, you can go for the highest range bonus with no worry of balancing your range/prayer bonus.
