XBox 360 Deal Or Not
Microsoft may soon be offering a $99, 4GB XBox 360, complete with Kinect sensor. Reportedly, it will include a 2 year contract for XBox Live Gold for a monthly fee of $15, allowing users access to the gaming systems online services. Online gaming and entertainment is currently on the rise and according to one report, in March, 181 million internet users in the U.S. spent an average of 21.7 hours watching online videos. This is considerably higher than the previous years reported 174 million viewers watching for 14.8 hours. With the multitude of digital devices with online capabilities currently available, this may be an interesting maneuver.
After recently expanding their XBox entertainments selections, not only will you be able to play traditional XBox games, but you can stream videos and enjoy other online services. If you do take advantage of the deal, consider this; Best Buy offers the console with sensor bar for $300 and add that to the current subscription price of XBox Live Gold at $60 a year for two years and you end up paying $420. With the new deal from Microsoft, it ends up costing you $459, a loss of $39.
