Hello, all.
I recently completed my bachelors in Classical Studies. My capstone, which was well-received and the object of some pride on my part, was about the cultural values driving the Roman political system. I can translate to and from Classical Latin with accuracy, elegance and speed. I also have taken some Attic Greek. I'm well-versed in the classical library, epics, letters, histories and all. I have a great deal of imagination and can apply that knowledge to create compelling scenss and narratives.
Several professors recommended I pursue a career in the gaming industry. I do have an interest in gaming; recently I played Fallout: New Vegas and was sufficiently familiar with the classical material upon which much of the game content was based to identify specific influences on a 1:1 basis (as well as to identify points of divergence with classical sources).
I'm looking to capitalize on my knowledge and experience with classical sources in the gaming industry. How would I best go about this?
