Sony Computer Entertainment America has released firmware 3.60 today, and by all accounts it seems to plug all of the security holes enabled by the PS3 jailbreak. Sony can take further comfort in the analysis of the firmware update from what is probably a sworn enemy, Youness Alaoui (KaKaRoToKS).
He is the creator of the PS3 jailbreak PSFreedom. Commenting via Twitter, Alaoui's initial analysis of the update is that it appears to have plugged all major security holes. Alaoui adds that it is not improbable that the firmware update could be hacked at some point.
