GameIndustry.biz has some good news about the recent layoffs at Relentless Studios. Many of the staff that were let go got together to form a new studio called Full Moon. Kalvin Lyle of Full Moon tells GI.biz that the former employees have no ill will toward their former employer. Lyle went on to say that staff were warned well ahead of the layoffs occurring.
"I can't speak for everyone, but I think we're trying to make the best of it," Lyle told GamesIndustry.biz. "Those let go from Relentless are some of the most talented people I've worked with in my 15 year career. Obviously it's not a great situation, the landscape for employment isn't great right now in the south east or in the UK. With all the recent closures and redundancies there's a lot of competition. For those with families who can't easily relocate, it makes things very difficult." Read More
