Yesterday SCEA fired a warning shot at hackers. Today they are starting to make good on their promise to ban anyone that uses a jailbroken PS3 system. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the hacking community is starting to report warning letters from SCEA and having their access to the PlayStation Network cut off.
Users that are banned from PSN are reportedly seeing the following message when trying to connect to SCEA's online gaming service:
"You cannot use the PlayStation Network with this account (8002a227)"
Other PS3 users claim that they are receiving warning letters via email, similar to the warning posted on the PlayStation Blog yesterday: Read More
