Killzone 3 Senior Producer Steven Ter Heide is concerned that hacks similar to those plaguing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (and other games) on PlayStation Network could affect the newest release from Guerilla Games. Speaking to GamerZines, Ter Heide said that his company will be vigilant in its fight against players who want to bend the rules and use security holes to gain an advantage online.
"We've seen the cheats that are possible in other games. Our biggest concern is that one person is able to ruin other peoples' experience," said Ter Heide. "That's something we need to clamp down on."
"From our end we're constantly monitoring what is happening in the games and we'll try and plug holes that people start abusing," he added. "We'll make sure that those people don't get a place in the Killzone universe."
