The Game Tycoon blog offers an interesting post about who might be a bad customer in this age of digital and free distribution of games. David Edery, CEO of Spry Fox, explains the long-standing definition of what a good customer is, according to the game industry. A bad customer is defined as someone who buys a used copy of your game or pirates it. A good customer would be someone who pays you $60 for your game.
Nevertheless, as Edery points out, these generic definitions do not fit anymore because they do not take into account an individual's attitude.
