Continuing on from [URL=http://gameculture.com/2011/01/04/mmo-talk-rift-part-two]previous posts[/URL] about TrionWorld's MMORPG [I]Rift[/I] (still in beta), I thought it would be good to talk about guilds and why they're so much fun. As I've been riding the MMO wave pretty much solo for the last eight months, it has been a really awesome experience finally joining a guild again after so long. While being unguilded definitely has its good points, there's just something awesome about achieving goals with like-minded people. As many MMO gamers will be able to appreciate, there's nothing better than achieving something in a game you enjoy with an organized group all working in unison.
