Organizers of the Independent Games Festival announced the eight Student Showcase winners for the thirteenth annual presentation of its awards. This year's showcase honors students from DePaul University, Digipen University of Technology, School of Arts and Design Kassel, and Future Games Academy, among others.
This year's Student Competition saw more than 280 game entries across multiple platforms including PC, console, and mobile. IGF organizers said that the number of entries for this year increased by 47 percent over last year.
