According to new court documents obtained by Kotaku Respawn founders and former Infinity Ward talent Jason West and Vince Zampella are objecting strongly to Activision's attempt to add EA to its ongoing lawsuit. The founders of Respawn told the court that Activision knew of EA's "involvement in the case over six months months beforehand."
By waiting until December, Activision managed to prolong the start of the trail. Mostly the duo object to this because, they say, the legal battle is putting an undue hardship on them financially and is making it difficult to make a living with their new company Respawn Entertainment. They also say that the legal battle has already exceeded both of their "annual salaries."
