Hello all, and happy New Year! My name is Patrick and I'm a policy coordinator for the ECA. I'm also a full time student and a newlywed. My wife recently spent a year overseas, and lost a good deal of weight while she was away. Upon hen return she has gotten us both to start a gym regiment. I've become pretty good at making it to the gym on a regular basis, though I do find it hard to get myself motivated to head to the gym by myself, so when she travels I tend to get a little lax in my gym visitation. In general I find the whole enterprise of the gym a chore rather than a fun and fulfilling use of my time. Don't get me wrong, I have seen improvements in the form of transforming some flab to muscle, but cardio and fat burning on the elliptical is not my idea of a good time. I'm hoping to be able to find some games that can supplement, and possibly replace some of my gym time when it comes to the cardio portion. I have no illusion that Video games would be hard pressed to help in terms of weight training without additional equipment, but cardio should be easier for video games to supplement and replace.
