According to a [URL=http://www.geek.com/articles/mobile/warez-ahoy-windows-phone-7-drm-has-been-broken-20101230/]Geek.com report[/URL], one clever hacker has broken the digital rights management layer of Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. The hacker shows the Marketplace hack in the video to the left, but has not released details (or software) publicly at this point. Hypothetically the hack could be used to strip the DRM from apps and upload them to any device.
Microsoft has not commented on this newfound security hole in its DRM, but one would expect they will issue updates to try and plug it.
