A new subdivision in the Spanish city of Zaragoza will be naming about a dozen streets after video game characters.
According to a story on CNN, the neighborhood of Arcosur is being built for first-time homebuyers and residents decided in an online poll that games would be the topic of some of the street names, while muscial composers and Spanish monuments would encompass the rest.
The first street name was unveiled over the weekend as Avenida de Super Mario Bros. The unveiling was accompanied by a Mario mascot and a violin and cello duet playing theme music from the game.
