Rock group Metallica will be partnering with Activision to launch the [I]Call of Duty: Black Ops[/I] event at Santa Monica's Airport Hangar 8 on November, 4. Metallica will perform at the event which honors the six branches of the armed forces as well as raise $1 million dollars for the Call of Duty endowment. The profits from the event will go towards helping soldiers during their transition back to normal life.
