[B]Seven-year-old Christopher Miszkowiec used the light from his Nintendo DS to get to his unconscious mother after their car crashed and rolled several times into bushland near Heathcote, Victoria, Australia.[/B]

The accident occurred when the car hit a Kangaroo late at night on the country road. Christopher's father Wayne Miszkowiec, struggled to get out of the car to free six-month-old baby Joseph while Christopher unbuckled his own seat belt and that of his younger brother Dilon. Using the light from the DS, Christopher then made his way to his mother, Kathleen, in the darkness and freed her from her seat.
