Sid Meier's classic sails the seven seas again - this time on the Wii. 2K Games announced that the swashbuckling adventure, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, is now available on the Wii. Players take control of 27 fully customizable vessels in 17th century Caribbean islands. Players battle other vessels on the high seas, fend off attacks in dramatic sword fights and explore the exotic islands for hidden treasure.

Originally developed by Firaxis Games, Sid Meier’s Pirates! was adapted for Wii by 2K China and Virtuous and includes the classic mini-games from the franchise’s original title such as Sword Fighting, Ship Combat and Dancing, as well as two new mini-games mapped to the Wii controls - Bombardment and Lock Picking.
