I'm going to take my little "games journalist" hat off for a minute and speak as a gamer. I don't want to wade into the argument that publishers and developers are getting screwed by used game buyers and whether it's right or wrong for those same people to charge used game buyers extra money for game content or multiplayer - after all it's their prerogative to do so - right or wrong - and it is the consumer's right to buy those games or reject them based on that fact alone.
But what I find thoroughly repulsive is THQ's comments comparing used games buyers to pirates stealing their games like dirty little file-sharers. How dare they make such a comparison?
