When fans of video games mix virtual life with real life every now and then, the result can sometimes be funny, sometimes sad but always interesting. Mario Kart fans in Portland thought they'd do just that when they painted Mario Kart 'powerups' like banana peels, stars and turbo panels on the bike lane. It was interesting enough to make the local news!
