XSEED Games has released Ys SEVEN for the PSP to retailers across North America and as a digital download from the PlayStation Store. Developed by Nihon Falcom, Ys SEVEN is the first game in the series to be created for the PSP. More titles are on the way from Nihon Falcom thanks to a multi-title deal with XSEED. It's also the first Ys game in four years to be released in North America. Hopefully it will turn out to be really good so that XSEED will see value in publishing more titles in the series over here.
Ys SEVEN promises an action-based real-time battle system where players can switch between any of the three-member battle party on the fly in a 3D environment with virtually no load times. The game also includes nine playable characters, four difficulty levels, 30 hours of gameplay and an all new storyline featuring familiar faces like Adol and Dogi.
