Double Fine, Tim Schafer's outfit that gave us Brutal Legends, is working on two brand downloadable games to be published by THQ. Pretty exciting stuff and Schafer's first foray into the world of downloadable games.
The first we know a bit about, while the second will remain a mystery for awhile. The one we know about is called an action RPG called Costume Quest, where players collect Halloween costumes that give them the power to transform into the creatures or monsters they represent in quests that are "grounded in reality" - whatever that means.
While Costume Quest will be released this year - October 31, 2010 - the second title won't see the light of day until early 2011.
"We wanted to make a big impression with these, our first downloadable games ever," said Tim Schafer. "So we are coming out swinging with two great adventures from two of the most creative minds in the company."
