[B]Jonas Neubauer is now the world's best Tetris champion after winning at the Classic World Tetris Championship, held Sunday at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles.[/B]
Neubauer started to make a name for himself after posting a YouTube video clip that shows him achieving the world's highest score for Tetris. Along with the title, Neubauer also scored $1,000.00 prize money and the right to brag about his newly acquired title. He began playing the game when he was 10. "I was instantly addicted to it," he said, "It just kind of came naturally to me."
Los Angeles is known as a hub for Tetris players with three of the top five players in the world living in the L.A. area.
